Academic Scholarships
Any student who has graduated as the valedictorian or salutatorian of his graduating class (of five or more students) may be eligible to apply to receive a first-year scholarship. These scholarships are limited and must be approved by the Admissions Director. Students who are approved for this scholarship will receive written confirmation. Recipients receive a $1000 scholarship towards their first year at Hyles-Anderson College.
The principal or administrator of the Christian or public school should send the following information on school letterhead: name of graduate, type of awards received, number in graduating class, and date of graduation. Please address letter to the Hyles-Anderson College Admissions Office, 8400 Burr Street, Crown Point, IN 46307. The Admissions Office must receive this letter no later than August 1 in order to be considered for this scholarship.
Criteria:
- This scholarship may only be applied to the student’s first year at Hyles-Anderson College as an undergraduate enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits. The scholarship will be divided equally between the fall and spring semesters.
- In order to be eligible for this scholarship, a student must enroll within one year and one summer of his graduation from high school.
- If a student attends another college after completing high school and before enrolling at Hyles-Anderson College, he would not be eligible for this scholarship.
- Academic scholarships may not be combined with the Jericho Program.
Work Scholarship Program
A new or transfer student may qualify for a work scholarship which will pay all or a portion of his room and board.
- 20 hours of work per week pays 100 percent of room and board fee.
- 15 hours of work per week pays 75 percent of room and board fee.
- 10 hours of work per week pays 50 percent of room and board fee.
- 5 hours of work per week pays 25 percent of room and board fee.
Criteria: Financial need, work history, pastor’s reference, ACT scores

Pastor’s Scholarship Program
This scholarship program is designated to help the children of senior pastors / missionary pastors to attend college. This is a one-time $2000.00 scholarship given to new and transfer students who qualify.
Criteria: Student must be the child of a current senior pastor or missionary pastor.

Full-time Service Scholarship Program
This scholarship program is designated to help the children of parents who are in full-time Christian service to attend college. This is a one-time $1000.00 scholarship given to new and transfer students who qualify.
Criteria: Head of household must be in full-time Christian service.
