Youth Conference 2015 was an amazing meeting. This year’s conference was held in the Jack Hyles Memorial Auditorium to bring an old school flavor to the event. Powerful preaching, spirit-filled singing, hilarious skits, and crazy games held true to what Youth Conference Hammond has been for 43 years. The auditorium was packed out with over 3,000 teens, workers, and adults. The Spirit of the Lord was evident in every session. Many great decisions were made by young and old from all over the world.

The Tuesday evening session started off with a skit featuring the world-famous duo of Cactus and Myron. In their own unique way, they introduced each of this year’s speakers.
Bro. Sammy Roberson (Hyles-Anderson College Bible Faculty) started off the preaching of #YC15 with a powerful message. Bro. Roberson's message was followed by the preaching of Bro. Chris Tefft (Hyles-Anderson College Dean of Student Life). Many life-changing decisions were made during Tuesday night’s invitation.
Wednesday and Thursday mornings were split sessions for both the youth workers and the teens. On Wednesday the workers met with Pastor Wilkerson, Dr. Stuart Mason, and Bro. Eddie Lapina while the teens met with Bro. Freddy De Anda and Bro. Brian Hasse in the main auditorium. On Thursday morning the workers were taught by Bro. Hasse, and they had a question and answer session with Pastor Wilkerson while the teens heard Bro. Ricky Torres and Dr. Eddie Lapina.
After lunch everyone came back together for a combined session and preaching from Pastor John Wilkerson. There were many who trusted Christ during the invitation, and many made decisions for the Lord.
Wednesday afternoon and evening were spent on the campus of Hyles-Anderson College. The entire campus was transformed into a midway with games, rides, competitions, and delicious food. The night was capped off by a program with Pastor Wilkerson and a spectacular fireworks display over the lake.
The Thursday afternoon session revolved around a Get Smart Game Show in which youth pastors had the opportunity to win $250.00 gift cards to purchase supplies for their youth room. The winning youth pastor, Andy Yglesias from Jordan Baptist Church in Burbank, Illinois, won a $500.00 Apple gift card.
After a delicious barbecue dinner on the church property, everyone met back together for one final evening service in the Jack Hyles Memorial Auditorium. In the closing service Cactus and Myron entertained the crowd with a hilarious skit, the First Baptist Church teens provided powerful music, and Dr. Stuart Mason preached a sermon about getting smart with your faith, family, friends, and future. Many decisions were made, and lives were changed during the invitation.
The first annual Youth Conference was held at First Baptist Church in Hammond in June of 1973. A few hundred teenagers came, and the phenomenon of an annual youth conference was started. Since that summer, hundreds of thousands of teenagers have made the annual trip to Hammond for Youth Conference. Powerful preaching, soul-stirring music, hilarious skits, and life-changing decisions have set Youth Conference Hammond apart since 1973! Thousands of Christian workers have had their lives changed and are in the ministry today because of a decision they made at Youth Conference in Hammond.
